3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school if full of staff that does not care about kids. The few that do have no voice and are usually the ones who don't work here very long. They claim to be all hands on deck but no one has any idea what is actually going on in the classrooms. Bullying is bad and the staff do not care until it gets to the point where kids are struggling with their mental health and mental health providers become involved. Then they start to want to listen when your kid is diagnosed with depression and is having suicidal thoughts. Terrible school and careless staff if you can send your kids elsewhere.Parent Review1mo ago11 Reviews - Salem Church Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe’ve had a wonderful experience with our child’s elementary school and honestly can’t understand why it’s rated as low as it is. The teachers and staff are dedicated, caring, and truly invested in student growth, both academically and emotionally. Communication with families is consistent and thoughtful, and the school community feels welcoming and inclusive. One of the most impressive things about this school is the variety of educational opportunities it offers. Our child has access to unique curriculum options, like Mandarin Chinese and American Sign Language, that are typically only found in one other school in the region. These kinds of programs are not only enriching but also prepare students for a more global and inclusive future. It’s rare to find this kind of cultural and linguistic exposure at the elementary level, and we’re so grateful our child is benefiting from it.Beyond academics, the school does a great job supporting social-emotional development, celebrating student success, and encouraging creativity and curiosity. From science fairs and cultural celebrations to reading challenges and service projects, there’s always something positive and engaging happening. This is a school that clearly puts students first and makes the most of its resources. It deserves more recognition for the strong foundation it provides and the diverse, forward-thinking opportunities it offers. We feel lucky to be part of this school community!Parent Review11mo ago677 Reviews - Ecoff Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved to the Ecoff district from Wells. We loved Wells but the Ecoff staff made sure my child was welcomed, included, challenged academically and I made it a great transition for her. I’m an involved parent and the front office has also been great! I also love the pride houses and sense of unity it gives the students. Great job, Ecoff!Parent Review1y ago27 Reviews - Webber Community Christian School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school used to be really good, it offered computers and foreign lang, those resource classes have fallen by the wayside. The principal has left and the school is being run by the board. Students have left at such a great rate that for the past 2 years they've combined grades. This meant that the teacher only had have half the time to teach each grade, of course the children's learning suffered. I can not recommend this school at this time.Parent Review15y ago1 Reviews - Ironbridge Christian Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent, we could not be more thankful for Ironbridge Christian Academy. From the very beginning, it has felt like more than just a school. It truly feels like a family. The teachers genuinely know and love each child, and the communication between staff and parents has been outstanding. What sets ICA apart is the strong Christ centered foundation woven into everything they do. Our children are not only growing academically, but spiritually and emotionally as well. We love that the school partners with families and reinforces the biblical values we teach at home. The academics continue to impress us. The smaller class sizes allow for individualized attention, and the students are challenged while still being encouraged and supported. We have especially appreciated the focus on character, leadership, and creating a love for learning. The school community is warm, welcoming, and deeply invested in students. From special events and programs to everyday interactions, there is a sense of joy and purpose throughout the campus. If you are looking for a Christian school in Chester, VA or near the Richmond area that truly cares about students and families, we highly recommend Ironbridge Christian Academy.Parent Review1mo ago2 Reviews
