4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to this school Kindergarten-9th grade. Elementary was the best part little drama, made so many friends, and felt safe and excited to go to school, but one junior high hit, it was a disaster. 60% of teachers don’t care about bullying or violence, not one did I feel safe going to school, male teachers walked into bathroom multiple times, a TA was texting a student, the principal was horrible, for my experience with the principal is my sister had multiple times she was sick, she was sick for over 2 months, we got doctors notes, the principal sent out a message to my parents threatening them she’s going to call CPS for how many absences my sister has, after that my sister had to do homeschooling. The school had way to much bullying, harassment, violence, and drugs. I’ve gotten searched multiple times just because I was in the bathroom at the wrong time when someone was doing drugs or vaping. I have more experiences, but I generally don’t recommend having you’re kids going here, It’s a bad place at least from my experiences.Other Review2mo ago25 Reviews - Childrens Classic

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePlease do not send your child to this school if they are under the age of 5. The school has a major problem with aggressive and abusive behavior issues with children from 2 to 5 years old. There is not enough staff to handle these issues and administration just tells staff to redirect or remove them from the area. The staff is told not to punish or hold the offending child accountable just redirect. The parents are not told about the behavioral issues or staff is told to downplay the issues. The children are out of control. Bullying is ignored and is constant in these class rooms. The administration staff ignores these issues and just advises the staff to gently ask the children to be kind to each other. There is no punishment or time out ..just constant screaming..yelling..biting.. scratching and physical violence ..just try and walk the halls..Parent Review4y ago7 Reviews - Odyssey School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would give no stars if possible. My son was in kindergarten with a teacher who started with a T. He was bullied a lot, his teacher called him a tattle tell and was told that he is not allowed to keep telling on the kids that were hurting him. The teacher even said a lot of disrespectful words towards me as well so I knew how rude she was. The teacher was upset that my son couldn't sit still and when the teacher moved on to another assignment and didn't allow my son to finish his work which made him sad and he cried. There were times my son came home from school crying so hard pleading me to not make him go back to school and he was barely 5 years old. Come to find out my son has ADHD so that's why he couldn't sit still and had attention issues. If your kids have any form of ADHD or anything else then I would NOT recommend this place. They never got a school councilor for him, never switched classes to see if that would help him, they never did anything. I spoke with the principle and she seemed to be on the teachers side and wouldn't even listen to me at all. This is just not a good school to your children in if the principle is not even willing to hear parents concerns. My son now goes to a different school this year and he is doing so much better and excelling. His teacher adores him and is so kind to him. They have more structure for him and the school councilor and behavior specialist helps my son when needed. I knew that it was not my son who was the issue it was the teacher and this school. I would not recommend putting your child into any of the schools under the Ogden School District. When I called them and talked to one of the guys there he seemed like he was going to help but, didn't end up helping at all towards the end. I think private or charter schools in Ogden are the best until they are willing to get new staff who can help children be successful rather than what they have now.Parent Review3y ago4 Reviews
