"Commuting in this area is nice as it’s typically low traffic, accidents seem rare and minor, road rage isn’t common, and surrounding landscaping is well maintained."

"I would say it’s very homey, like a small little town. All the kids schools k-12 is in one area. The shopping centers are close to. I love because I never have to leave my general area most of the time. "

"There aren’t sidewalks except for the walking trails, which can be a hazard to be aware of. People drive too fast on the streets, and visibility can be an issue, so be particularly aware of where your kids are so they don’t get run over. There’s a few parks with good playgrounds in the area and the schools seem to be alright"

"Lots of young kids, safe for all, people walking their dogs, activity on the streets. Mostly friendly people. Nice walk to the creek. Does need monitoring by authorities because of teenagers. Overall, happy to be here. "

"This older part of Grogan's Mill is not well lit after dark, in fact, there are only a handful of streetlights on the main road, but none on the neighborhood streets at all, so it is very, very dark. We have tons of squirrels and the occasional possum, lots of birds, good fenced yard, everyone is extremely friendly with neat, tidy homes and yards. Very nice place to live, but these houses are dated and the rent is about 250-300 overpriced. "

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have 2 children going to Hailey and everyone I have met has been amazing! My son has severe delays because of trauma and he gets over stimulated easily causing him to have meltdowns. I was very nervous about him going to school. His kindergarten teacher was amazing and always kept me informed of how he was doing. His next teacher was the same way and he has made so much progress this year. He is an above average student and I know it is because of his amazing teachers. My daughter is dyslexic and they have helped me get the help she needs. My girl has told me tons of stories about the principle which means she is very involved with the students. I am moving and I am very sad that my kids have to move schools.Parent Review3y ago9 Reviews - The Woodlands School For Young Scholars

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have been part of this Montessori school community for the past 10 years, and it has truly become like a second home to our family. All five of my children have attended here, and I can confidently say it has been one of the best decisions we’ve made for their education and development. The teachers are absolutely incredible—not only are they knowledgeable and dedicated to the Montessori philosophy, but they genuinely care about each child. Over the years, they’ve become like family to us. They take the time to understand each child as an individual, nurturing their independence, confidence, and love of learning in such a thoughtful way. What really sets this school apart is how authentically it follows the Montessori method. It’s one of the most traditional Montessori environments you will find in Houston, and that consistency and integrity in the approach truly shows in the children.I’m so grateful for the impact this school has had on my kids and our family as a whole. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nurturing, respectful, and truly enriching Montessori experience.Parent Review1mo ago46 Reviews - Montessori Unlimited
