7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhen my daughter started attending this school I didn’t know if I could trust them because she had been to 3 different elementary schools & was treated horribly. When she got to Windermere I told them about all of the concerns I had for my daughter especially academically & immediately they started the process to get her in classes that best fitted her needs . The ENTIRE office staff ( administrators, nurse , register , principals ) is amazing & very family/friendly oriented! The teachers I can’t even explain how much I appreciate them . There’s teachers that know my daughter that I don’t even know & that makes my heart full. This school keeps you informed about any and everything that’s going on. PARENTS/ GUARDIANS give the staff a chance if you or your kiddos have any issues speak up in a respectful way there’s always someone who can help resolve any issues you may have . SCHOOL STAFF IS HERE TO HELP OUR KIDS , THEY GET UP EVERY MORNING & COME DEAL WITH OUR KIDS & I KNOW ITS NOT EASY ! This is my daughter’s 3rd year at Windermere & let me say I had a few words with a teacher & a former assistant principal who is no longer there but it got better once I actually started communicating my small concerns in a respectful way.Parent Review5mo ago10 Reviews - Brookhollow Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son attended kindergarten through fifth grade at Brookhollow. I had initially hesitated to put him in public school because he was identified as both gifted and special needs. We came to Brookhollow after a couple of failed attempts with small private schools that advertised themselves as supporting kids with ADHD and other learning differences. Unfortunately, we quickly learned that despite their marketing, small private schools don’t usually have staff who are properly trained with those conditions. Brookhollow was a godsend. The teachers were loving and attentive, and though the school struggled with being underresourced by the state, the administrators consistently were able to do a lot with a little. My son thrived at Brookhollow, which has a wonderful, cozy neighborhood culture. All the teachers seemed to know his name, and we were always dealt with warmly and supportively by all staff we engaged with. I would note that Brookhollow struggles with communicating promptly and consistently, although there are several different newsletters; the events that apply only to a single grade or class can easily get lost in the busyness, especially when the overstretched teachers are the ones responsible for communicating about them. I thought this was a small price to pay for access to such dedicated and experienced staff, though. My family feels extremely lucky to have experienced Brookhollow under Ms. Harris, the current principal. What a gift!Parent Review10mo ago20 Reviews - Springhill Elementary School
