5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Average'My school is the best school ever. My teacher Ms Enriquez is awesome! She cares for all of us. She wants us to pass. This are the words of my son, I am glad he is happy. Every morning is a new challenge for him. But this year is his year. He likes his principal Mr. Castillo. Very respectable man. All faculty work as a team. They teach and have fun. The school strives for security and wellness of our children. Everything is well ordered. The PTA meeting are excellent and well informed. I have my boy that already passed to 6th and no longer is in this school. But since beginning his teacher have acknowledge him and got him to participate in various events. They even participated in a Television Program, Chess Clubs and Science project. My son never missed a day, enjoyed Bruni School to the max. I am proud of Bruni School. And appreciate all it gave to my sons to excel in life.Parent Review12y ago2 Reviews - Farias Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe Teachers and the staff are great. I am a very involved parent that come from a different city. I don't know if all schools in Laredo are like this but administration lacks professionalism. Since day one they put my child in Kinder instead of First Grade. Administration will just not cooperate with parents and they can be really rude. Luckily next year we are moving , so that he can attend a different school in the same city.Parent Review11y ago2 Reviews - Leyendecker Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son is in this school and the priciple/teachers are rude mean and dont put the effort to help my son. They give my son write ups and dont like him since the day i found out his teacher had thrown his box of crayons to the trash for coloring as a punishment since that day till now they put him in a desk facing the wall alone didnt let him play with the other classmates the other things that has happen is worse not even changing teachers work, the reason they changed my son from teachers was because i went to his school and they were having a private meeting without me knowing anything i was suppost to been there and called since my son is under age, i had to tell the principle the teacher and councilor that i was fed up with all this and i was going to speak with the lisd district my son loved school waking up in the mornings but not anymore now he cries and dont want to go at all. His been in school since he was 3 yrs old when my husband was in the Marines. Now i dont know what to do since his new teacher is being the same as the other, my son really needs titorials but his teacher said he dont need it since his not going to pass to 2nd.Parent Review15y ago1 Reviews - Macdonell Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI once attended this school and now my child is in this school, but I am not happy with the lack of professionalism the principal and vice-principal, along with others have towards parents who want to be involved in their child's education. This school needs better teachers who are qualified to teach the students. The school needs to involve the parents more, in order to help in the child's education. There is also a lack of communication and many parents are clueless of the rights they have as parents.Parent Review12y ago1 Reviews - St Peters Memorial School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageExcellent!! It is due to the diocese of Laredo and Bishop James Tamayo that this pillar of the community, 115 year old school, is being closed. Shame on you Tamayo!! Laredo will not forget what you have done!!Parent Review6y ago2 Reviews
