"Easy access to highways for Fort Worth and Grapevine. Getting out of the neighborhood during rush hour will add up to 30 minutes to your commute."

"Sendera Ranch in the past had a great Texan feel, however the area has grown very quickly and the feeling of a community has changed."

"It’s long, but doable. Nothing is exactly close, but the landscape is beautiful. The trains can cause a ton of backed up traffic though so time it out."

"There isn't a dog park, but what you WOULD like is the miles of walking trails for you to walk with your companion on. "

"The area has a great school district and wonderful people and it’s a small little community, that is growing very fast and not always able to keep up with it’s need for additional infrastructure. "

"No dog park and we really need one and have plenty of room for a few in the neighborhood. They need to be social with other dogs "

"I’ve lived in this community for 4 years. We rented first before we bought. Bottom line, the community is great. Sure there are going to be a few bad eggs, but as a whole, I have seen this community come together many times over in support of one another. If you are looking to live in this area, Talk to some of the people, they are almost always friendly enough to chat and tell you about the neighborhood."

"Go starter-home area, however, expect to commute. Takes about 15 minutes to get out of Halset alone, plus there are constant trains to consider. If you don’t work far from Haslet, it’s no problem. "

"It’s like the neighborhood I grew up in, kids play outside on the evenings. We have block parties a couple times a year. We know all of our neighbors, and spend time with them. We all look after one another. Schools are excellent. "

"I work in this area and I have grown to love it. It's only minutes to area shopping (brand new WalMart opens first week of Oct.-2013.). Close to restaurants. Great access to major highways - 287/I-35 yet still enjoy country living.. Best of both worlds!"

"The community is just a few miles from Alliance Town Center with LOTS of amenities! New Walmart opening Fall 2013 within 2 miles of home. Home Depot, Target and various shops and restaurant coming soon. I like the area and it's fairly quite. A new large park within a few miles will be opening in summer 2014 with lots amenities including a dog park. This neighborhood has it's own greenbelt walking trail and community pools. Great schools! Great neighbors!"

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school had almost a complete turnover of staff and leadership beginning with Aug of 2023, so do not let old reviews worry you. My kids have gone there so far from PreK to 1st grades and everyone is great and cares about them and their success! All their teachers have cared, taught them well, and communicated well with parents. They work hard to make school fun and educational.Parent Review11mo ago10 Reviews - J C Thompson Elementary School
