"Our family has lived in Fairmount since 1970 and we are a second generation in our 1908 bungalow. The neighborhood has evolved and improved dramatically since 1990. It’s once again THE place to live in Fort Worth for community, activities, arts, a wide range of dining opportunities, excellent nearby medical care and diversity. "

"We bought our circa 1908 Fairmount home from my husbands parents in 1990 and his parents had owned it since 1970. This is a very stable, family friendly community and it’s become even more fun and vibrant every year! "

"Fairmount is a revitalized turn of the century community. People who choose to live here appreciate history and old fashioned values yet they creatively update while retaining the charm and spirit. Homes have porches and neighbors are friendly, helpful, yet not intrusive. "

"I live here; the neighbors are kind and helpful. Fairmount was even lovelier before two owners (both brand new to the area, obviously) took it upon themselves to chop down two huge and healthy century-old pecan trees (part of the charm of living within viewing distance of downtown Fort Worth is the big trees). One owner is building a McMansion, so the tree went and the house now completely fills the lot instead. It's a crime!!"

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI coordinate a mentoring program for 4th graders at DeZavala. I look forward to each time I get to be on campus (pre-Covid - we're virtual this year). The staff create such a warm and supportive environment. The administrators and teachers are passionate about advocating for their students, meeting their needs and connecting them with resources. It has been a joy to collaborate with them for the past four years.Other Review5y ago9 Reviews - Hope Works Christian Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageComing to Mosaic Academy is the best choice we have made for our children (a middle schooler that has since graduated out, and a second grader). I can’t say enough about just how incredible of a school this is. The teachers care deeply about each and every child! They meet the children where they are and support their needs! The environment is so welcoming and supportive! Mosaic Academy has changed my family’s lives!Parent Review1y ago35 Reviews - Mosaic Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI can’t say enough wonderful things about this school! The staff all genuinely care SO much about the children, they advocate and work hard to bring parents along every step of the way, and listen so well to anything you might bring up. My son has Down Syndrome and has made such amazing progress at this school. This was his first year in school, and we were a bit nervous about whether he would be included and encouraged like other neurotypical kids. I can say with absolute confidence that this school will go above and beyond for any child’s needs, regardless of their diagnosis! They truly understand that every child is an individual, and my son has blossomed as a result. Communication is stellar, the teachers are SO great, and the school itself is cozy, beautiful, and a welcoming place to learn.Parent Review7mo ago2 Reviews
