"I’ve live here for more than 10 years and I love it! We have the best neighbors, except for a few but don’t bother none. Very quiet and peaceful here "

"The things that make my neighborhood unique is the fact that the movies are across the street, there are starting to be more businesses in the area, and that the kids public school is near by. "

"This is a great neighborhood for families. There is park close by and schools close by. We haven't had any problems in this neighborhood in years. Neighbors are friendly. "

"It’s safe, up and coming, beautiful, quiet! There are lots of parks, public transportation is better than what it used to be. I love the east side! People are more helpful and friendly on the east side and customer service is great!"

"There’s a lot of construction at the moment so it’s very congested. The good thing is there’s different routes you can take to get to where you’re going, and it’s very fast during non peak hours."

"With all the construction the traffic is horrible . I can’t stress that enough. It almost seems like all of El Paso is moving to the east side "

"Yes, my friends had a corgi they used to walk everyday in the neighborhood. It has gotten worse since they have placed around a bouts at Richard Beam and Edgemere and the new one they are building at Edgemere and RC Poe. Non-residence driving through the neighborhood morning and night! Horrid!"

"There is a dog park near by! Off pebble hills. If you have a small dog take measures to not let them out of the yard. The gates are very wide and can easily get out and get pick up by animal control. "

"High school homecoming parades are nice. Other than that, there is nothing to do around here. Sometimes the high school kids leave trash around the neighborhood. After lunch, they feel that throwing their trash on yards and streets is acceptable."

"Too much road construction going on so traffic is terrible in the mornings and afternoons . If they can finish construction I think traffic wouldn’t be as bad as it is now ."

"People drive through the neighborhood kinda fast at random and it’s hard to see around some corners, possibly mark areas where kids are playing with a orange cone or sign. There are lots of cats, they aren’t strays and people love them so no need to call animal control. "

"This area looks nice because there are so many new homes and shopping areas, BUT do your research before you buy!! There's a reason why it's so cheap. The prison is right across the street!!!!"

We were over flowed to this school and when I went to get him all set up on his first day...they told us they wouldn’t take anymore mono lingual students. Left him delayed starting the year because they didn’t want to take him on for only speaking one language.Parent Review8y ago5 Reviews - Sgt. Roberto Ituarte Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf I could rate zero stars I would. Worst staff, lead by RUDE administration.Failed to provide answers in a timely manner regarding child’s needs or concerns or completely dismissed until our “upcoming meeting” weeks away.Allowed staff who had no business calling Childs medical providers calling to verify notes and allowed medical notes to be passed around like a Sundays paper then told by admin “just drop it because I know how you can get & you know how I can get”When staff would try helping my child or us as parents they would be reprimanded and told not to speak or reach out.As educators they are there to help students and in fact staff at this school has done the opposite. When teacher was asked why they didn’t speak up about child’s needs & class room observations teachers response was “what’s the point” as in i opted my child out of STAAR testing and the school year is over so why speak up.This school is an absolute joke.I hope staff gets the training they ALL need to assist parents/ guardians/ caretakers and most importantly the children going forward. Maybe even suggest an engagement training at the next TEPSA conference to start living up to that mission of “Together, we will continue striving for excellence and fostering a nurturing environment where every child can thrive.” Because the environment that’s at that school is far from that! Please start being #AllIN or move over so someone who truly cares can step in :)Parent Review1y ago10 Reviews - Chester E.
