"Plenty of areas to walk your dogs. Very dog friendly area. Not enough dog parks maybe but overall still a great area. "
  • Kenneth E. V.
"Rapid transit is virtually non existent. Hey 290 expansion has been very beneficial for Cypress , reducing commute times in half."
  • Melissa W.
"It’s a nice, established area with more growth on the horizon. There are homes that have been around for 15 years and neighborhoods that are just starting new home building. It’s a good mix of young and old, modern and traditional. Lots of amenities nearby too."
  • Virginia L.
"Friendly neighborhood. Fairly quiet minus the occasional kid playing outside. Really one of the best neighborhoods I’ve lived in and I’ve traveled all over the country. "

"Great schools and neighborhoods. Cypress is a great place to live. The biggest downside is how congested it has become so rapidly."

"We live on Progress Ridge Way, just over the bridge past the pool from the Cypress Rosehill entrance, the street is quiet and free of thru traffic and everyone on this street (and in this section) shows pride in their homestead! LET IT BE KNOWN: Many of the homeowners past the bridge (will eventually connect to the Mueschke Villages) have shown serious concern about Lakeview - an unfortunate section in our neighborhood. Unfortunately, the HOA has been governed by the inhabitants of this "section" since it was nearly the first part of this neighborhood to be built. Clearly it was done on a budget, and a [bad] builder was brought in to jumpstart the community. You can ask ANYONE in the newer sections that we do not consider Lakeview as something for someone to consider when rating our neighborhood. This is not to offend anyone currently living in that area. All can agree that the state of the street and driveways in that "section" are horrible and run-down looking, and the yard upkeep is almost negligible. Where our street is, the pride is obvious, and beyond, where the golf course lots are, the pride is obvious. If you want to move here, PLEASE do not take Lakeview into consideration. Villages of Cypress Lakes is a great community filled with hard working single families, couples, and retirees alike. "
