La Tuna

This school has undergone new administration changes and I've seen alot of improvement. The teachers and staff are working hard to provide great education to our kids. Why my kinder student is reading! I never saw that before. What this school needs is more parent involment so we can all work together as a team.

DDE is a "High Flying" award recipient with great teachers and staff who are committed to excellence. They encourage our children to their full potential and strive for success.

I have one child that attends BCE. I really like the school there's not too many kids so I feel there's more of a community/neighborhood feel where most of the administration knows the kids by name. I do feel my child is learning a lot and that her teacher is really committed to them progressing and building a foundation for the future. The reason I'm not giving 5 stars is for two reasons, the first is because I think there's could be a little more structure as far as pick up and drop off, there seems to be a lot of confusion and changes with that since the year started even for the kids. The second is one person in administration in particular, they should just be a bit more friendly and understanding towards parents concerns and questions. Other than that good school overall. I feel my child is safe and taken care of there.
