"Sylvan Park is one of the most sought-after neighborhoods in all of Nashville. It‘s a historic neighborhood with a lot of history. The homes are unique and well maintained. There are many small business around the neighborhood with the best goods in town. The Greenway is a great place to walk/run and enjoy nature."

"I have lived here for 24 years, great place to live and work. Convenient to everything! Great schools, quiet, friendly neighborhood with community center, golf, and public library. Good neighborhood restaurants. All just minutes from downtown."

"I have lived in ParkLane for almost one year and it has been exceptional. I am in my mid-twenties and have met a lot of friends in the area. I can't go down to Neighbors, Local Taco or Cafe Nonna without seeing someone I've met in Sylvan Park. ParkLane is a quiet community located against McCabe Golf Course. There is plenty of recreation in the neighborhood and it's very safe. If I stay in Nashville, I'll stay in Sylvan Park."

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSt. Ann is small but welcoming, if you are Catholic and do not care much about sports/physical health, and you like 10 or up to 19 people in a grade, this school is perfect for you. I have been at this school for three years, and I am about to graduate. I can say that you really develop a personal relationship with your teachers because the school is small. But with all the good things, there are some downs. St. Ann does not have a great physical health side of things. We have PE twice but usually once a week, and by PE I mean playing kickball or baseball, nothing that will burn a good amount of calories. Most students at this school do not care about their physical health, because the school does not promote it. Another huge issue is that there are no girls sports teams except for volleyball and cross country, the rest are boys. Even the boys team here is no wear near to decent. St. Ann also does not support girls sports, or promote them. In my eighth grade glass there are only 4 girls and about 18 boys. Also our gym is not a gym, it is not long enough to be considered a gym. So, we can not host basketball games either. One last thing is the cafeteria, also a place where we do our school plays and host small gatherings. Inside the kitchen, it looks like something had exploded a long time ago, but never was cleaned up. But I will admit I will miss how welcoming this school was to me when I moved here in 6th grade, I have also met a lot of interesting people. In conclusion, I know I mentioned a lot of bad things about the school, but I am just writing this for whoever is out there wondering if they should work here or send their kid here. St. Ann is a good school, for being a small Catholic school in the middle of Nashville. This school is great for someone who wants a small environment, and is involved in the arts/theater side of things. I know this review was long to read but I hoped it helped coming from a student!Student Review2y ago1 Reviews
