"It's an excellent area for neighborhood living. The neighborhoods are quiet at night and full of life during the day. There's always somebody walking their dog and kids playing outside. All kinds of community activities, with several churches and sports fields around there's always something going on. The Nashville Star Train station is in this area, but driving or riding the bus into downtown is also convenient all to give affordable commuting options. The 10 to 15 minute trip into Downtown is an easy drive (the main road of this area, Lebanon Rd, turns into 1st Ave and intersects with Broadway at Riverfront). It's an older part of town that boasts a majority of long-term residents who take pride in the appearance and safety of their neighborhoods. The residents use and take care of the public parks themselves and the Greenway trails that are always in use also allow for walking between neighborhoods in the area.
