Agathos continues to surprise me when it comes to student shepherding by teachers. Students are led in such a way that they are given tools to thrive academically and spiritually. The teachers seem to really value relationship with their students. I also appreciate the way older students on campus interact and model truth, goodness, and beauty for the younger students.

The school is great. As someone who has been there for a majority of my life, and now fixing to graduate from this school, it has all the boxes checked and more. Not only does it give you the opportunity, whether in athletics, academics, or character development, to excel and prepare for next level, but it encourages excellence in every atmosphere. The community is very family oriented, as well as the whole school feeling like a family. There is a group and and niche for everyone as long as they are willing to go out of their comfort zone to find it. The best part of all, however, is the Christian atmosphere. It is not required to go to church or be a Christian when attending the school, but heavily encouraged. By encouraged, I do not mean forced upon you a shoved down your throat, but you are lovingly supported to live a life in the light of God's way. Nobody is perfect and, in such, no student or teacher is perfect, but the atmosphere at Columbia Academy encourages everyone to strive to be the best they can possibly be.
