Kingswood

"I grew up on Oscar Howe Circle. It's a beautiful neighborhood, and has wonderful elementary and high schools just a short walk away. It backs up to Kuehn Park, which has a public swimming pool, tennis courts, baseball diamond, soccer field, and golf course. There's also a little track/ trail, where I spent a lot of time riding bikes when I was younger, and walking the dog, once I was able to talk my parents into getting one. The neighbors were always friendly, helpful, and someone usually held a great block party at least once a year. There was a real sense of community, and people looking out for one another, without being too overbearing, or nosy. The neighborhood was also a part of the huge yearly Kingswood garage sale, and although we only participated a few times it was fun, and extremely profitable. It's kind of insane how many people show up for that thing. All in all, I really couldn't have asked for a better childhood home. I can't imagine a better place to raise a family, or for that matter, not raise a family. There really is a nice mix of people in the area."
