10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat safe school with teachers and admin who appear to care about kids. Downsides: the style of learning is stuck in the 1960’s. They use paper and pencil for everything and while they technically have iPads, their main use for them is behavior reinforcement. Also do NOT, I repeat do NOT, sign up for French immersion unless you are actually French yourself. The 1st and 2nd grade French teachers are not good humans and will make your life h.e. double hockey sticks. Also, nice landscaping out front!Parent Review1y ago17 Reviews - Lexington Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNew Providence Elementary School is the gold standard for public education! From the moment you walk through the doors, you can feel the difference... a sense of purpose, kindness, and excellence that’s second to none. The leadership team is truly something special; New Providence is blessed with three of the best principals in the entire state of South Carolina! Their energy, vision, and love for the kids set the tone for everything that happens on campus. The teachers are just as incredible. Every single one goes above and beyond to make learning exciting, personal, and meaningful. You can tell they genuinely care about their students not just academically, but emotionally and spiritually too. What makes New Providence stand out most is the atmosphere. It’s a public school that feels like a private Christian school...warm, family-centered, and full of values that build character as well as knowledge. Kids are taught to lead with kindness, strive for excellence, and serve others. If you want a place where your child will be loved, challenged, and inspired every single day, New Providence Elementary is it. Truly a blessing to our community!Parent Review10mo ago7 Reviews - Heritage Christian Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDo no walk, RUN from HCA!! New leadership was appointed in 2025. After the '25/'26 school year, seven (7) teachers and over 20 non-graduating students left HCA. Every year the number of students and qualified staff drop. When hired, some HCA teachers have no formal experience in teaching or classroom management and may lack sufficient completed teaching accreditations. Based on our experience of the changes implemented last year compared to years prior, in our view, the quality of education dropped, HCA leadership and staff did not hold themselves accountable for mistakes or wrongdoing, children and families were drowned by new unnecessary, unpredictable rules and restrictions, the optics and reputation of the school became the priority rather than the students, and children belonging to the teachers were given preferencial treatment.Parent Review1mo ago16 Reviews
