8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child is on the Autism spectrum and is a part of the Mt Zion community. This school has been an amazing experience for our whole family. The teachers, therapists, support staff, administrators, and students have been so supportive and inclusive. My child loves to catch the bus and go to school everyday! The excitement and joy I have witnessed when he talks about school, his teachers and friends is heartwarming. They go on field trips and develop their social/emotional as well as academic abilities. The past 2 years have made a world of difference in all our lives. We have gone from non-verbal to non-stop verbal! If you are a parent with a special needs child, this is a school that won’t disappoint! We have experienced other schools and programs that promise a lot and do not deliver, or even create an environment that dampens his spirit and personality. MZES has been a breath of fresh air. We know when he gets on the bus for the day he is safe, will have a good experience, and come home bouncing off the bus saying “Mt Zion Elementary, Did you have fun?!”Parent Review1y ago7 Reviews - Charleston Collegiate School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a student in the middle school I dread going to school. I constantly feel bullied and targeted by almost every faculty member. There is so much favoritism toward the staff members children it’s like they are immune to trouble! Our middle school is a few moldy, disgusting smelling trailers which makes the whole building really humid. Not only are the trailers smelly they never get cleaned. My grade and I are constantly getting sick. I’m pretty sure we’ve all got some sort of mold poisoning. There’s 0 diversity at our so called “school”. We are constantly getting new teachers due to them quitting left and right. It’s such an embarrassment to say I go to CCS. It’s also embarrassing to be having to pay so much for so little! Overall our school is a mess so please please please take this warning seriously and do NOT send your children here you’ll seriously regret it.Student Review1y ago13 Reviews
