7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe love SASMS!!!! My daughter is in 2nd grade and has attended since kindergarten. She is excited to go each day, loves the engaging curriculum and special contests. I love how diverse the “special areas” are - she has art, music, stem, makers space, library, P.E, and second steps. Second steps focuses on emotional intelligence and understanding how other children are feeling. Her teachers each year have been unique and special. She is in classes with a children from diverse backgrounds, which is very important to us.The principal and assistant principal are engaged, and the PTA has great events, so you can meet other parents and feel a part of the community!Parent Review2y ago17 Reviews - Stono Park Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child is in his second year at Stono Park. I have really appreciated Stono Park and found it to be an excellent school. It is obvious that the teachers and staff here work tirelessly to benefit the students and create a good environment. I am very, very impressed by how much they go above and beyond to do special things like the evening events with families (back to school wellness fair, Candyland themed math game night, around-the-world themed literacy night, student performances, board game night, bingo night, etc.). My child likes his teachers and class mates. On the first day of Kindergarten, he was so nervous (of course!), but on the first day of the next school year he bounced out of bed and exclaimed that he was excited for school! I have seen how being at Stono Park has helped him be excited for school.Parent Review5mo ago47 Reviews - Harbor View Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school was excellent from kindergarten to 5th grade graduation. The teachers were so easily contacted and approachable. Every teacher kept in weekly personal communication with me to improve my son's education. I was distraught to see Mrs Middleton leave and thought the school may go downhill, but Mrs Conner proved me wrong. I couldn't possibly recommend this school more than I do. The drama teacher is so fantastic that my son got into SOA. Your child will be lucky to go to ARCAE.Parent Review7y ago8 Reviews - Charles Towne Montessori

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageJames Island Christian School is an excellent place for children to learn in a Christ centered environment. The teachers are awesome, supportive, and engaged. A high standard of character is expected at the school and the staff/administration does a good job up holding and enforcing that standard. The curriculum is challenging and engages the learning process.Parent Review2y ago10 Reviews - Blessed Sacrament School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have three kids that have attended BSCS. My oldest went on to BE, my middle child is now at Academic Magnet, and my youngest is still at BSCS. The academics are excellent. My oldest transferred easily into the BE honors program, graduating in the top 10 in his class, and getting accepted at his number one, two, and third-choice schools. Going to his first choice on a full academic scholarship! I am confident his strong foundation in math and English opened up these opportunities for him. My middle child is not at AMHS and is thriving. She is excelling in all her honors and AP classes and is now recognizing just how excellent her foundations are in comparison to her peers who come from schools all over the county. My youngest is till at BSCS, and I am confident that she will have the same opportunities as my other two. So the academics are excellent. But I think they all benefited the most from the community. My son joined in middle school, and his two best friends from his first year are still his best friends. With shifts in the arts program and sports, my youngest has close friends not only in her grade but both the grades above and below her. It is a welcoming, open, and supportive environment. The academics are excellent but the community makes it unbeatable.Parent Review1y ago25 Reviews
