7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe love SASMS!!!! My daughter is in 2nd grade and has attended since kindergarten. She is excited to go each day, loves the engaging curriculum and special contests. I love how diverse the “special areas” are - she has art, music, stem, makers space, library, P.E, and second steps. Second steps focuses on emotional intelligence and understanding how other children are feeling. Her teachers each year have been unique and special. She is in classes with a children from diverse backgrounds, which is very important to us.The principal and assistant principal are engaged, and the PTA has great events, so you can meet other parents and feel a part of the community!Parent Review2y ago17 Reviews - Stiles Point Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageStiles point has a large number of excellent teachers and our overall experience has been excellent.GreatSchools has a couple of errors or things I think are unfair.1) Security is excellent. Full-time guards are present and access is well controlled.2) GreatSchools marks progress low. This may be true, but it's based on students already performing at the top of the range. As the parent of a G&T student here, I would like to see more done to help overachievers reach their full potential, potentially even advanced classes moving them through additional grade levels without officially advancing them above grade age, but it's difficult to fault the school for being full of high performing students. It's odd to see JI Elementary rated higher here. In terms of raw scores, Stiles Point has a much larger percentage of students achieving at or above grade level than JI does. We've considered whether it would make sense to try to get our child into Buist and decided against it.Parent Review3mo ago16 Reviews - Harbor View Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageJames Island Christian School is an excellent place for children to learn in a Christ centered environment. The teachers are awesome, supportive, and engaged. A high standard of character is expected at the school and the staff/administration does a good job up holding and enforcing that standard. The curriculum is challenging and engages the learning process.Parent Review2y ago10 Reviews - Nativity School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school and especially the athletic director rules with a dictatorship where they will allow the parents and kids to have a say so in a leaders ability to do their job without taking an accountability, the facts and truth from all sides of the story. The school should be disappointed in the athletic directors results, an actions of trying to lead the school into a better light.Other Review4mo ago16 Reviews - Mason Preparatory School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are thrilled with our child's Pre-K experience at Mason Prep. Viaa team of exceptional educators and dedicated administrators, theprogram has proven to be unique in its ability to blend together anacademically advanced curriculum with a highly nurturing environment. We have watched our daughter learn to read, gain more confidence, andmake lasting friendships. In addition to our daughter being in thisinaugural PreK class, our son is a first grade student at Mason Prep and we are equally pleased with his experience. Most of all the kids love going to school every day!Parent Review1y ago37 Reviews - O'QUINN Schools of Porter Gaud
