The Homestead School is an incredible community where children get to spend lots of time each day learning and playing in nature, where values of care for each other and the earth are constantly cultivated, and where the teaching and learning approach is personalized and holistic. We've had our son at the Homestead School for 5 years now, since he was 2.5 and it has been amazing to witness all his learning and growth. The teachers and administrators I have interacted with work very hard to provide an exceptional learning environment, they are receptive and communicative, and they are committed to helping each student thrive. During the pandemic, I was so grateful for the completely above-and-beyond effort made to keep everyone safe and balance the different needs and perspectives that came from the school community. I'm delighted that my 3 year old daughter will be starting her Homestead journey this fall, and I hope to be able to keep both kids in this experience through 12th grade. I can't imagine any better preparation for our kids living their fullest potential and contribution in this world that so needs knowledgable, creative, compassionate leaders.
