As a parent of three Sanford lifers, I could not be happier with their experience and preparation for college and beyond. Not only were they well prepared academically, but they also entered college with the ability to self-advocate, collaborate in groups, and take on leadership roles. Every day when they stepped onto Sanford’s campus, I knew they were valued, trusted, respected, and cared for.The teachers give their all—every single day. Sanford is committed to educating the whole child in ways that ignite curiosity and a love of learning. It’s not a lecture-based curriculum; instead, students explore, collaborate, and apply what they’ve learned to real-life situations.The campus itself is absolutely beautiful, and Sanford’s no-cell-phone policy allows students to truly enjoy it while staying actively connected to their peers both in and out of the classroom. Now that my children are grown, they consider Sanford foundational in shaping who they are today.
