4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt's a school. The curriculum is neofail but that's nation wide. Kids are kids. Schools are schools. Remember another brick in the wall? Well there is no utopian school. There are better curriculums however, but that's in the nation's past unless you can afford private school.Other Review8y ago4 Reviews - W.G. Rice El School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTheir Math and Rading scores are FAR below statewide percentages for Pennsylvania. Looking at surrounding schools the percentages are in the low to mid 80s for both, while WG Rice scores around a 65% reading, and 47% math. The secondary school in this district doesn't seem any better, while they spent how many millions making the exterior look nice. Put the money into the education, not the facade of a building.Parent Review9y ago5 Reviews - Carlisle Christian Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have an 8th grader that has been at CCA since 3rd grade, and a 1st grader. We absolutely LOVE CCA! The school is like a community, and the faculty and staff are all completely supportive of dealing with the issues that inevitably arise. We found this school almost by accident, but are glad that we landed here.Parent Review5y ago7 Reviews - St. Patrick School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAwful experience. For a school with such a good reputation, I was very disappointed with how little they cared for child development. My child had never been in any organized class so it was slow going and he experienced some anxiety. He is incredibly gifted intelligence wise. The teachers did nothing to help his adaptation. Instead of giving him time to adapt, they told us after 30 days he needed to find a new school because they didnt have resources to help. Sent him to londonderry in harrisburg and he was talking and engaged within 2 weeks. Principal seemed hapless and the teacher I am 100% positive after some research had almost no experience so went by someone elses plan and had no instinct for kids.Parent Review5mo ago26 Reviews - Yellow Breeches Education Center
