5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school has a good curriculum but the staff is not trauma informed. I have heard several staff yell at children and even to parents when redirecting from parking on yellow lines. Not patient, not supportive enough to children. My daughter has bit been very happy and has reported that her teacher is rude and uses a mean tone when redirecting. I have gotten unprofessional voice-mail from a staff, reporting negative behavior of my kid. I found out later that my kid was present when the staff was leaving this voice-mail, staff said "the saddest part is that (my kids name) is not taking accountability for their actions" Who are you to shame my kid ? Again, not a trauma informed school. Needs so much improvement because let's face it, children are not the same after the pandemic. Every teacher needs training around trauma.Parent Review3y ago7 Reviews - Hawks View Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageReally wonderful place to educate your young ones. The staff are extremely dedicated and kind. It’s uplifting working in a Christian environment, hearing the teachers and students praying. Lots of field trips and stem activities too.Other Review1mo ago2 Reviews - Lowrie Primary

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe deeply regret enrolling my child at Lowrie Primary School, a place that completely fails in safety, supervision, and education. Safety is a disaster—doors are left wide open during school hours, allowing anyone to walk in without check. Playground supervision is nonexistent; teachers stand far away while kids scatter, some dangerously close to the road in chaotic lines. There's no security—no locks, no fences, no vigilance. The school's "nurturing" rhetoric is empty. Students are treated like a herd, with no focus on individual needs or abilities. Kids with behavioral issues are ignored, letting problems worsen. Shockingly, kindergarteners use bathrooms without supervision, leading to incidents like a boy trying to force a girl into the boys' bathroom—discovered only by parents, not staff, with the teacher still clueless. The principal, lacking experience, oversees chaos. An early-year assembly was a disorganized mess, with kids running wild and doors still open to potential intruders. Teaching is lackluster, teachers are older and ineffective, and behavior issues are mishandled. Lowrie Primary endangers children and fails as a school. The state should not be funding this ticking time-bomb of a school.Parent Review6mo ago9 Reviews
