"The schools here are some of the best in Salem. It’s extremely safe, kids walk to school and to each other’s houses on their own and play outside. There are very nice parks. "

"The area is filled with kids. They are always out playing or walking down the street with parents or friends. The neighborhood schools are amazing and incredibly family focused. We like this area a lot. "

"This neighborhood is okay, there are a few areas that are concerning but we do feel fairly safe. We would rather live in a more rural area outside of Salem. "

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSchirle Elementary is a GREAT school with lots of parent involvement. The principal listens to concerns and takes them seriously. There are a lot of enrichment and learning activities outside of the classroom. The only thing I wish I could change is class size (which is due to funding at the state level and is not Schirle Elementary's fault ).Parent Review10y ago
