"living on mount tabor is nice, but it does make walking to local shops more inconvenient. it's beautiful, people walk their dogs every day, and you can walk to mount tabor at 3am when you can't sleep. "

"See people walking their dogs all the time to go up to the park. Very dog friendly area. People are very responsible and respectful with their pets. They also have a dog park at Mt. Tabor where dogs can play with other dogs."

"Our neighborhood sits on the base of an extinct volcano and features a large park with 3 reservoirs, a cinder cone amphitheater and amazing views of downtown and Mt. Hood. A 10 minute walk in any direction will land you in amazing areas for restaurants bars and entertainment."
