"Downtown Gresham has some activities on certain time of the year also there is some parks near this area I don’t really know much about this location but since driving around this area it seems somewhat safer compared to other places I have been driving around looking at potential places me and my family can stay at."

"the homeless break into cars. they steal what they can from your yard or porch. strange men approach the little girls in the neighborhood. the highschool is no good. the elementary school has way too much bullying. not good for families and has turned into a trash area. do not move here if you can help it."

"the homeless who steal from you are quite unique. as well as the landlords making you pay for sewer for everyone in your apartments. "

"This neighborhood is close to Portland without the full city life. Unfortunately this comes with a little to frequent big city crime. Police patrol often but I wouldn't walk alone after dark. "

"My boyfriend lived (I in Va) near 181st & Brooklyn Ct. For a couple of years, I took a monthly flight for my week long visit, gave birth to our daughter 15 min. away in a Portland hospital and loved the drive to PDX (airport) was 10 min. We found parks to take her to, though traffic was undesirable on streets leading to/fro 181st, never experienced congestion on 181st. Chain dining options are found near "downtown" Gresham, which also hosts a Farmer's Market offering seasonal fruits, vegetables as well as a variety of "homemade" items that, no doubt, find it's way into the home of shoppers. The quaint downtown is only a couple blocks wide and long it offers the non-chain dining options boast tempting recipes/meals sure to please any palate. A walk to Safeway and Walgreens on weather cooperative days is a convenience I regret not having, especially with the competitive Walmart Marketplace across the street. A couple of blocks you'll find a bus going north (w/a stop for those looking for MAX) or south to Powell Blvd. With only one or two exceptions, the neighborhood harmony differs from most found in subdivisions these days, with daily family walks and children playing OUTSIDE until dusk is the norm when weather allows. A few miles west, my grandmother called Brooklyn Ct home for 30 years. Widowed, she recently moved to an assisted living center. Though transient (5-20 years due to floor plans appealing to first-time homebuyers) the neighbors in her little cul-de-sac were generally warm but not as tight-knit as the one off of 181st. In between Powell and Division, navigating to/from Brooklyn Court is a breeze, has a diversity of floor plans, with neighborhoods suitable for all stages of life. Regardless of whether you're looking to rent or buy, It is definitely worth looking into if your budget allows."

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child loves this school and his friends and teachers here. He is challenged academically and nurtured spiritually. I would highly recommend this school to any parent looking for a safe, loving place for their children to grow and learn. It is big enough to offer diversity and options like music, sports, and arts, but small enough to feel like family.Parent Review7y ago5 Reviews - Eastside Christian School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have had our 2 children at Eastside Christian for 4 years and each year I have come to appreciate this school more and more. Small class sizes, caring teachers and staff, and a solid Christian foundation have made our experience at Eastside a very positive one. My kids are excelling and I love the ability to be involved in the school. Our school uses A-Beka curriculum, but supplements with other curriculums too. I find that my children do many hands on (and quality) projects in the classroom. There are some very creative teachers there. This is a very affordable option compared to many other private schools out there.Parent Review15y ago1 Reviews
