"There are no places to walk around and traffic going by to and from the middle school is so congested and slow. Neighbors are unfriendly and like t police you every moment they have a chance . It's a average middle class neighborhood but they think they are Pacific Heights in San Francisco--so glad I got my kids out of that homogenous neighborhood!!"

West Sylvan is a gem of a neighborhood school. There is something for everyone from strong academics through the IB Middle Years Program, to choice of multiple World Languages, visual art classes and performing arts programs in theater, band and choir, youth sports & clubs, and excellent teachers and counselors. Our family enjoyed our time there and we have stayed connected to the school. Principal Hunt is always warm and welcoming.
