5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSome of staff is very jaded by their own personal life views and imposed them on children. There are some AWESOME teachers here Marlow and Marquette to be specific. 2nd grade teacher Persiani is by far thee worst in my experience. She was not effective in her teaching abilities like Marlow and Marquette and lacked patience. Like any school there is good and bad. PTA is awesome. Administration (principal more lack luster assistant principal much better).Parent Review4y ago7 Reviews - St. Ann Catholic School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe found this school may years ago when our oldest was about to go into second grade. They had been attending public school and we felt that the teachers there were devoting more time to other students that might not have had as much support at home. We felt our child would get more attention in this type of environment. We were amazed that a small school had as many resources as they do. They have a reading and math specialist. They have Spanish class that starts in kindergarten. They have a really nice STEM lab and a computer lab. Being such a small school give a real family feel. There is only 1 class per grade so by the time your student graduates you are very familiar with all the students in the class and the parents. The downfall to that is, mostly in math, students learn at different speeds. They move everyone along at the same pace when some students excel in a subject and other struggle and could use a slower pace. Although not as obvious with the younger students, it is a disadvantage for the older students. They have taken some steps to remediate that in recent years, including dividing up in math class, and I hope they continue to expand that.Parent Review3y ago4 Reviews - St Joseph Consolidated School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis was my grade school when I was younger and I loved everything about this school even as I aged into an adult with my own children. They had great morals and support in place for kids and it was the one private school in the area that was able to accommodate and love every person as if it was a family of children and they always were so welcoming to everyone . They taught more than religion to me and shaped me as an adult till this day. Unfortunately they hired a new principal and she is rude and snobby she follows no good morals and is turning the school into something unfavorable to many . It would be in the best interest of the school and the children who go there if families and the school veto her out completely. I myself struggled in school and have disabilities the sad reality is my child went there for 2years of pre K-1st grade and come second grade they kicked my son out for having a learning disability per new principal. She’s unprofessional and while I thought hard on posting this because it was my childhood school and I still know some people there it’s best I don’t fall in the line of keeping my voice down for others as this is a very important matter not just in schools but around the world and I stand tall when I talk about disability and disability rights no matter what school it is especially as I think about how Jesus would treat myself and others who have disabilities. Shame on her but that’s not on me that’s between her and god at the end of the day as it’s not my job to judge it’s only my job to help other around me and educate what I hear and know.Parent Review4mo ago5 Reviews - Linden Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son goes to Linden Elementary and he enjoys going to class and excited to learn, he's on a IEP and they do a very good job accommodating that. It suites our family well. Transportation is offered and free lunch, lots of after school activities offered. For the most part the teacher turn over rate I've haven't noticed. But overall a good structured school with nice teachers and support.Parent Review1y ago5 Reviews - Fairfield Christian School
