NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have 2 kids that goes here one in Kindergarten and one in middle school. My Kindergartener constantly gets in trouble for things like jumping, playing and normal kid stuff at that age. They always tell me he's the only one doing this and when I talk to other parents they all say the same about their kid. I also picked my kid up early one day and saw a teacher belittling and being condescending with an elementary student; if this is how kids are treated i get why they act out. My middle schooler has been exposed to so much negativity. We don't allow certain music, shows or even my kids around bad family members but they come home with so much bad language and so many questions about different sexual things because they're confused on what's being said. My middle schooler is also on and IEP but the help they get is practically non existent and they're still failing because they can't keep up with the regular kids. I expressed this so many times and was assured things would change but it hasn't. Spoke to the principal about the horrible things the kids say and he basically said "kids will be kids" and "boys will be boys". The kids have so much free time and most of it not monitored. They care more about if you're in correct uniform than actually teaching. So many people already took their kids out and I'm going to do the same. My kids definitely won't be back next year. Oh yeah they also don't provide breakfast or lunch and constantly ask for donations and are doing some sort of fundraising as if tuition isn't enough. Makes you wonder where the funds are going. I being snacks for my kids whole class because the kids are hungry since busses pick them up at 630am and lunch isn't until 12/1pm. They need to get some structure and revamp their whole education plan because everything is horrible. I never had this trouble when my kids where in Maumee public schools. The sport programs are horrible as well with very few players. Its embarrassing going to CYO events seeing the other schools with full teams while ours is only a handful of players.Parent Review1mo ago21 Reviews - Bolton Crossing Elementary
