I can only remember positive experiences during my time there, and it was all great memories. My 3 kids have attended since Pre K. Lindbergh is very engaging and holds several fun family activities throughout each year that take place outside school hours, that we continue to look forward to that provide learning, free books and keepsakes for the whole family. Not the same staff from the 90s, but lots of tenured staff and principal Mrs T has remained committed to and accountable of the school for years, overseeing amazing staff. Lindbergh has always been supportive of my children's needs, particularly with my child that was very difficult. I never felt he was treated unfairly or judged and appreciated the advocacy provided by all staff involved (Mrs D was a saint!). secretary, Ms B facilitates all admin and non classroom stuff, and really stays on top of of everything . She's incredible! The Librarian Mrs F has been there years, and works hard at keeping the library full, holds book fairs, along with several other contributions to the school. Kindergarten teacher Mr H Is awesome. I made sure all my kids had him, because of his teaching style, tolerance and ability to provide a space that was not intimidating. My kids transitioned to K smoothly. Mrs T in 1st grade has the best skillset and resources to introduce children to reading and I absolutely loved the environment in her room. She took a unique approach to teaching. Only downside is the third grade 'dynamic duo' (Mr G & Ms B) left before my last child had a chance to have them. They were top notch!, and Mrs H in 5th grade will soon be retiring before he's in 5th. Shes is a absolute gem, and the most compassionate educator I've met. It happens, and it's not negative, just a bummer. I can't think of a concern, or time that was never heard, and acted upon accordingly. I know this is long, but this is a honest opinion of a school that I have willingly sent my children, and been involved with for over well over a decade in total, even though the scores aren't perfect. I could have tried the lottery, but trust my kids are safe and know staff genuinely cares. people fail to realize that parent engagement goes a long way and kids do best with involved parents. I guarantee if more parents remained consistently involved, students would thrive and scores would increase! We'll miss L.E.S when that time comes!Parent Review1y ago6 Reviews - Beautiful Savior Evangelical Lutheran Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have 2 kids that goes here one in Kindergarten and one in middle school. My Kindergartener constantly gets in trouble for things like jumping, playing and normal kid stuff at that age. They always tell me he's the only one doing this and when I talk to other parents they all say the same about their kid. I also picked my kid up early one day and saw a teacher belittling and being condescending with an elementary student; if this is how kids are treated i get why they act out. My middle schooler has been exposed to so much negativity. We don't allow certain music, shows or even my kids around bad family members but they come home with so much bad language and so many questions about different sexual things because they're confused on what's being said. My middle schooler is also on and IEP but the help they get is practically non existent and they're still failing because they can't keep up with the regular kids. I expressed this so many times and was assured things would change but it hasn't. Spoke to the principal about the horrible things the kids say and he basically said "kids will be kids" and "boys will be boys". The kids have so much free time and most of it not monitored. They care more about if you're in correct uniform than actually teaching. So many people already took their kids out and I'm going to do the same. My kids definitely won't be back next year. Oh yeah they also don't provide breakfast or lunch and constantly ask for donations and are doing some sort of fundraising as if tuition isn't enough. Makes you wonder where the funds are going. I being snacks for my kids whole class because the kids are hungry since busses pick them up at 630am and lunch isn't until 12/1pm. They need to get some structure and revamp their whole education plan because everything is horrible. I never had this trouble when my kids where in Maumee public schools. The sport programs are horrible as well with very few players. Its embarrassing going to CYO events seeing the other schools with full teams while ours is only a handful of players.Parent Review2mo ago21 Reviews - East Franklin Elementary School
