"The sound of gunfire, screeching tires, and the smell of industrial chemicals. I do not plan on living here for a prolonged time."

"Local disasters, crime, and loud noises are the only thing of note in the Jefferson neighborhood. Do not raise a family here if you have other options."

"👍 awesome, just I don't like is the main street cars and bike noises is annoying. apart that everything is great and is safe, I live near first district police station and I love it."

"We are live in area and it isn’t great community area but it will get better when new stores, new restaurants and etc…"

"there are certain areas in West Park and West Cleveland that are very nice and others that I would consider not a nice area to live"

"The same as it was when I was in high school. Most if not all homes are well maintained. Neighborhood is pretty much the same as it was when I went to high school. "

"Jefferson is home to the great Jefferson Park. It is also home to a great number of small businesses, with a very diverse restaurant scene. "

"Beautiful park , beautiful location, loving community. Been in Cleveland all my life and would change anything about it. "

"Jefferson Park is a great place to walk your dog. Many dog owners live in this area and frequent the park and surrounding area."

"I’m originally from the east side of Cleveland Slavic Village in this neighborhood reminds me of how my old neighborhood used to be I feel very safe and I enjoy all the shopping nearby the people are amazing the only thing that I don’t like is this The sidewalks could be better and I’m off and I kid down the street you’re pushing the stroller are you at a crack In the sidewalk"
  • Bernice K.
"Rent is raising in a area that should be, every year the children on halloween get less and lesser. I have raised all three of my children here and the neighborhood has declined "
  • Timjustsayian
"this is not the best neighborhood, but it's not the worst either. houses in this area should be about 70000 at best "
  • Mick
"its quite. the cops patrol daily it makes me feel safe. everyone keeps their yards neat and clean. they all have a warm welcome to me and my husband. And we watch each other's properties. I like it here everything is close by."
  • Heather C.
"My husband and I have lived in Jefferson for almost 4 years, and while we don’t have any children ourselves, we often see & hear children walking up and down Lorain Ave. I personally feel like the Jefferson neighborhood is a far safer area for kids than some of our “shadier” neighboring communities, such as: Cudell, West Blvd., and Stovkyards. And by the way, this is coming from someone who lived my first 34 years of life in Strongsville suburbia. So, overall, I do feel strongly that the Jefferson neighborhood of Cleveland is a generally safe place to raise a family; specifically the area of Lorain Avenue from W 117th St. to W. 150th St./Warren Rd. "

"Minutes away from 90 and 71. Easy access to 480. Short drive to shopping in North Olmsted, Strongsville, Fairview Park. "
  • Mary
"its soso. gets noisy sometimes. few trashy neighbors but all and all decent. lots of kids as well as elders. eclectic variation of people."
  • Nik N.
"the neighbors are nosy and complain a lot. you can't even sit on the stairs without somebody complaining. can't even sneeze too loud or you'll be getting a call about someone complaining that you're too loud. hallways smell like nothing but weed. The big trucks drive by all day ever day and the trains are ridiculously annoying. "
  • Kelly M.
"It’s an okay neighborhood but I am concerned about the multiple business closing in the area without other businesses replacing them. "
