"I've lived in Colonial Heights since 2006. The area is peaceful--the only chaos we get are transient cars moving from outside areas using us as a through-way--and the neighbors are awesome. I love the garage sales drive we have once a year, the plant sale, the flyers monthly to keep you up to date on what's going on, the FB page where neighbors communicate what's going on (excellent for power outages!), and the meetings at the church just a few blocks over. There's a library within walking distance, a Rite Aid and a Dollar General just up a little and just a short bike ride away is Giant Eagle. Down a dozen blocks to the east is a Walmart and shopping hub, and we're not too far from Belden Village. Mercy Medical/Cleveland Clinic is just 8 miles/minutes away by highway. Then also SARTA 103 runs down Gibbs, Colonial, and Rowland to help people keep mobile! I LOVE THIS NEIGHBORHOOD!"

"Dogs are welcomed. People walk their dogs all the time! Most of the back yards are fenced in! Neighbors are friendly "

"Good for walks, plenty of sniff spots, good pee spots, dogs to bark at, bunnies to bark at and chase, sassy squirrels to taunt your dogs, quiet for walks and not a lot of traffic, plenty of sidewalks also."

"Here's the thing. I'm not from Ohio. I can't compare Canton to Akron, or Barberton. I can tell you this much though: I live next to a park, and on Saturdays and Sundays, a whole congregation of retards go to this park and blast their ignorant music loud enough for the whole neighborhood to hear. No one calls the cops. It's like the retards are expected to be retarded, so no one does anything about it. I am extremely glad to be moving from Canton soon. Other than the retards at the park, I think this side of Canton is ugly. The city doesn't try to change that one bit. They must not really care. You would think that it is in their best interest to keep a city as nice as possible, otherwise, no one will live there, and if no one lives there, then that means there are no tax payers. Oh, and the mail man comes really late here. 4:30PM or later. I don't know about you guys, but I like to get my mail early :D Who doesn't, right? I think anything after 3PM is just poop. "
