"schools are overcrowded. The south shores children population has probably quadrupled in the past 10 years and the schools teacher to student ratio is ridiculous. 4th grade 34:1"

"This area is perfect for all. People who don't drive since the train is local and Waldbaums is right here as well as eateries and bakeries.... If you are looking for a great neighborhood to live on the island. Pleasant Plains should be an area you discover"
  • Phiney
"This is a great neighborhood, It has a brand new park right up the street with 2 enclosed dog walks ball fields, kids play area with sprinklers, there are bocci courts and plenty of nice shaded and sunny area's to walk. There are 2 S.I. rapid transit stops very close by, a short ride to the ferry. Easy to commute to the City. The schools are wonderful and there are plenty of stores and good restaurants in the area."
