Phillips ave is a wonderful school led by an amazing principal Mrs Rogers. She goes above and beyond to make sure each student gets a great education in a caring environment! Test scores are misleading given there is a high % of non-english speaking students. My daughter has been at Phillips for preschool, kindergarten and now 1st grade. She is proficient in basic math skills and reading entire books in both english and spanish. I grew up in a very wealthy school district and Phillips is just as good if not better! I couldn't be happier!!

After spending 7 years at a parochial school where the tuition was growing but, the education was shrinking I decided to enroll my child at Roanoke. I could not be happier. My child has never been challenged more or supported more. The teaching staff is marvelous. The ELA curriculum is outstanding, inventive and, engaging. My child is thriving and, can't wait to go back next September.

I would give this school even MORE STARS if I could! The teachers are amazing and the kids are kind and caring! They have so many sports programs to compete in and there's a TON of school spirit! We are a FAMILY, no matter if it is your 1st year or your 10th...everyone is welcome at SIS! I disagree with the previous reviewer, my kids have only flourished and we absolutely LOVE Ms. Livingston, our new principal. She is caring and decisive! She has integrity which is missing with most administrators these days. I thank God everyday that we found this school. It is a true gem! This is our 2nd year at SIS

My daughter enter this school late in the school term. I think this school is really not a Christian school because their attitude sucks and all they care about is getting money out of the parents for every little thing. I would nevvvvvvvver referred this school to anyone. One of my closed friends lost his job , and the school would not work with him. The staff member say and I quote" if you couldn't afford this school you shouldn't registered your child here. As we all know we have no control over our jobs. One minute you can have one and the next minute it could be gone. I cannot wait til the school is over in June because my child will not be going back their.

My son as been attending SJP2 for 4 years now and I am absolutely blown away with his educational goals and the character he is building this school is amazing I can not say enough good things about it
