Kings Settlement

Way to many staff who just stand around at the end of the day and beginning of the day when they could be directing students or helping students but if a parent gets out and helps there kid to the door, they will all run over and tell you to get back to your car, student pick up and drop off is a joke. Can't believe there's not a better system in place. The "principle" talks to the parents the same way she talks to the students. She talks to you in this little kid voice, which is weird as hell. This school is for pre k to 2nd grade, and there's probably more staff then students there. They have systems in place here that are the same systems they use in the schools of Chicago. Why? Why did they start having younger kids get up at 6 am and the older kids get up later for school? Or is that another way to grab more money? Younger kids should be starting school later then the high school kids.

This school has gone down hill since 2018. There is no leadership or focus on academics, and the school morale is at an all time low. Communication is terrible. We are very disappointed at the state of this school.

While this school isn’t very accommodating for physically disabled individuals, they are very polite to their students and staff! We’ve noticed that my daughter has gotten better grades and is a lot more comfortable with people. Although there is no counselors, the teachers and pastor are very good at making sure students are safe, and that they can talk to them! We wish there were a bit more resources here, but they are trying their best for a small school!
