Years ago I was a staff member at this school. There are major issues with this school such as politics, money, and no support for staff. Politics played a big role in the issues in this school. One teacher aide was able to hit a child in the face and have no repercussions due to having connections to the school board. As for money, this school would frequently not send children to appropriate placements for special education due to having a small class size. There is a difference between a general education classroom with a low number of students and a special education classroom. The SPED classroom has a trained teacher that can effectively work with children with disabilities. Lastly, this school will not support their teachers. They dump expectations on them without even talking to them or asking them how they feel about taking on more. They won't hire additional supports if needed because of money.
