Teachers go above and beyond to make sure they are teaching students in the way that the students learn best. There are multiple special education options for students in need. Recent capital improvements have upgraded safety measures at the school.

Two of our grandchildren attended CMS and both are excelling in their high school since leaving Cazenovia. We, the parents and our grandkids all attribute the high school successes to the excellent teachers and programs at CMS. Cazenovia is a great little community, and we still have many friends there. The middle school reputation is wonderful, and our entire family would like to thank the great teaching staff for the work ethic and positive attitudes toward school assignments they encouraged with our kids and their classmates, many of whom they still communicate with. Incidentally, I see that you now have an Equity criterion. I have noticed that our grandson and granddaughter have best friends that are of a different color, and one of their them has a learning disability. Grandma, quite pleased, asked about this and was informed that they learned to be friendly with "different" kids at Caz, and are grateful for the lessons! This is not a good school. This is a GREAT school!
