Four Points

After seven years of having my children at this school, I can honestly say it has been a terrible experience. My children have faced repeated mistreatment from teachers, and despite reporting these issues many times to the principal and school board, nothing has ever been done. There is zero accountability.The administration sets a poor example, often appearing unprofessional and dismissive of parent concerns. Instead of protecting students, the school seems more focused on protecting its own image and sweeping problems under the rug.Parents, please be cautious before sending your children here. This school talks about “core values,” but in reality, it fails to provide a safe, respectful, and professional environment for students.

Both of my children had a wonderful education and experience at Mesilla elementary. It is a small school with a loving staff.

I have worked in both Miami-Dade Public Schools and Broward Public Schools for 23 years and Tombaugh is hands down superior in all respects. Family is involved in many facets of the childrens' education, administrators and teachers are approachable and helpful, teachers are respectful, enthusiastic about teaching, and supportive of all students, high achieving or not. Frequent communications to parents keep them "in the loop" and opportunities for feedback are offered. My granddaughter loves going to school, and that's the most important endorsement.

Both of my children have attended College Heights, and love it! It's a very caring and personal environment, but children are expected to live up to behavior and scholastic expectations. Excellent preparation in reading and scholarship.
