"I can drive only about 5 minutes to get anywhere I need. I can also easily take the bus or bike to school and work. "

"There is an elementary school a couple of blocks away, and a middle school and high school that are walkable. There are several parks nearby too. I have neighbors with you g kids who often play outside. Generally, the area feels very safe and good for kids. "

"There are many dogs and dog walkers and people leave out water for dogs. Very dog friendly area. Also safe streets. "

"There is a nice mix of young, middle aged and older family units including multigenerational families living on same blocks. An elementary school is right in the neighborhood and a few parks. Seems like a great place to raise kids. "

"Most all of the homes in this area Mid-century ranch & adobe style homes each with unique architectural character - nothing like the cookie cutter, suburbia homes of current times. "

*The teachers are this school’s strength! They work very hard to provide students with engaging curriculum and a fun, safe learning environment. *Current principal has driven away great faculty and staff with her absurd/ unnecessary/spiteful actions. She has proven herself dishonest and disrespectful toward others and prioritizes herself above all else, including student learning. *Lacks a school-wide discipline plan. Student misbehavior and disrespect toward adults not dealt with any long term, meaningful way. This has very negative consequences for all students. *Campus is trashy, older buildings are very run down and in disrepair. Upgraded playground is nice. *Many excellent community volunteers, including former parents, are committed to helping this school.
