My child went to this school after we moved from nyc, he noticed the difference right away. Although they are firm and strict on their requirements teachers don’t stress it out and my child is not under so much pressure. In nyc he was constantly aware of the competition among students for specialized schools in the future and if he didn’t understand something he felt like failing. Central elementary just doing their job, encouraging and preparing children for life without making them feel like they are on a racetrack

My family really loved Faber School. My kids were challenged appropriately in their classrooms and they had lots of opportunities to do hands-on learning activities that got them excited about school. Both the teachers and the administrators are very caring and they do a lot to make sure that students have a positive experience. There are a lot of fun traditions and celebrations (cultural heritage festival, color runs, etc.) at the school that create a welcoming atmosphere for everybody in the community.

I have a kid in kindergarten who loves going to school. Wants to go to school even on weekends! I will have my 2 year old giving you the preschool here. Great teachers and lovely learning environment with good amount of extra curricular.
