8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children went through both, elementary (Kresson) and Voorhees Middle School ( VMS). To my opinion Kresson is a mixed bag. However, it went down in early writing and math skills as classes seems to me became larger and the schools do not have enough teachers do development critical thinking and learning skills. The school district is eager to promote an Early Sex education among elementary school age children under a Health Education curriculum, and has staff for those type of lessons. Please be aware that parents can opt out the Sex Ed part if desired. The opt out forms can be requested through your district school administration and must be submitted by September 22nd, 2025. I wish we would have a voucher option to be able to afford to take our 6-year-old son to a private or a Catholic school to avoid an exposure to undesired information pushed by public schools in New JerseyParent Review11mo ago4 Reviews - John F. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOLMC isn’t perfect but we have truly enjoyed our experience so far. We have two kids in elementary for the last 3 years and they have grown so much, both academically and spiritually- we really see the impact of the school on them. They are both excellent readers all thanks to their wonderful teachers, and are truly empathetic - which we also give credit to the school’s focus on being Christ-like and kind to one another. I do think the school could use an assistant principal to help out with behavioral issues - the principal is wonderful but also juggling SO much. Their advancement director (Ms. DeHaven) is phenomenal and has really done so much to highlight how wonderful the school is and getting students and families more engaged. The teachers are great and genuinely care about helping our students grow as learners and citizens. The school does emphasize respect and rules, but that is most Catholic schools. If your child has severe behavioral issues, it may not be the best fit for them, honestly. If your child could use some structure and guidance, I think it’s ideal - I love that the kids learn discipline - they learn how to follow rules and be respectful, but not in a severe way. It’s great. We really love the school and familial environment and would absolutely recommend it!Parent Review1mo ago11 Reviews - Kellman Brown Academy
