8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children went through both, elementary (Kresson) and Voorhees Middle School ( VMS). To my opinion Kresson is a mixed bag. However, it went down in early writing and math skills as classes seems to me became larger and the schools do not have enough teachers do development critical thinking and learning skills. The school district is eager to promote an Early Sex education among elementary school age children under a Health Education curriculum, and has staff for those type of lessons. Please be aware that parents can opt out the Sex Ed part if desired. The opt out forms can be requested through your district school administration and must be submitted by September 22nd, 2025. I wish we would have a voucher option to be able to afford to take our 6-year-old son to a private or a Catholic school to avoid an exposure to undesired information pushed by public schools in New JerseyParent Review9mo ago4 Reviews - John F. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school was a waste of money and time spend....BIGGEST mistake made..... If your child doesn't fit into their box of perfect child behavior, not equip for special needs or kids w/ emotional supports..... They have very small classrooms. They have veteran teachers who cannot manage a classroom of a kids when she has an aid and when some of those kids don't even attend, their full-time be prepared to be called as early as 9 AM 10 AM to come pick up your young child because they're not listening or they are crying. The teacher cannot manage it. They will constantly ask for donations in addition to the tuition that you were paying, but cannot take the extra time to provide emotional guidance, emotional care or even build a therapeutic teacher student relationship in order to help improve your child's behavior. They will make decisions that benefit their facility and money that they want instead of what is best for your child. The teachers have no sense of professionalism. They were discuss your child in a negative way to you in a public setting while picking up why are you picking them up in the front line? No concept of this should be a private conversation. This is privilege conversation. Maybe this is some kind of violation of privacy to the parent. They will not work with you when it comes to your child, but they will easily kick them out and tell you hey you can try next semester. Hey you could try again next year but hey, I want your money. Those decisions also leave for their benefit the teachers have the people that they like is a small school all of them or family members or friends that they know each other outside of the school they don't take the time to Willie build that relationship with that parent or that child you would think a teacher who teach young kids would have a good pour with them would have a good alliance. There's none of that at least not to the parents that they don't know outside of the school when you see the teachers that they don't really try to engage with you you're trying to like build some kind of relationship or poor is very flat very cold very distant. They don't have hot lunches. They don't have a cafeteria. They order sandwiches and pizzas on Fridays. How many sandwiches can you could eat? They don't have a true playground a grass area for the kids to play. They have a smaller area for this young kids.If you are a minority, kids have special needs or needs emotional support, RUN!!!! Far away....Parent Review1mo ago10 Reviews - Kellman Brown Academy
