3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son attends Pre-K this school year. He is doing well. I have truly enjoyed the school and teachers for the past couple of years. It is helpful for us parents to continue being involved with our kids in the school activities and attend the wonderful workshops to help make it a great school. Keep it up and "Go Green Grove"!Parent Review9y ago5 Reviews - Wayside Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSchool is not for black or latino students there are one or two latino or black teachers since my son been going to this school he has been bullied and mistreated the principal has sent my son to the psychiatric hospital hands and legs strapped down because he had a fight with a student out of control trying to make my 7 year old kid feel like he’s crazy they he will never go back there and if you’re kid is black or Latino. I would suggest you get them out of that school. Asap have a blessed dayParent Review4mo ago4 Reviews - Woodmere Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI think this school is improving greatly. The current principal is very focused on academic achievement , which is what the school needs. This is a lovely school in a small, middle-class neighborhood, and many of the parents who send their children to Woodmere have grown up here. While this is a testament to the quality of life and education families can expect here, it also creates an atmosphere which seems to value traditions and social connections above academic matters (at least some of the time!). The good news is that the superintendent and principal have made some great hiring decisions and the faculty has pulled together to become a strong and professional team.Parent Review12y ago16 Reviews - Schroth School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWARNING: im very disturbed by the treatment my son has received, my son is a 21 year old non verbal person with severe autism, he has been attending children's center for a decade. Lately my son has had some new behaviors where he is removing his clothing in the classroom being very non compliant n disruptive which I understand is challenging behaviors to deal with, but my son has been expelled from school for this! The principal is appalled by this n says my son cannot return to school unless he has a medical clearance to make sure it's safe to return. They also said they don't want to touch him! I'm confused isn't this a school for people with disabilities? How are they overwhelmed at this behavior isn't this what their trained for? But they are being very discriminating saying they don't want to touch him like he's an animal! And using the bogus excuse that it's for safety. They had me sign a consent for him to wear a bodysuit to prevent the disrobeing so if they have a suit for that doesn't that mean that some kids take their clothes off? But I think the real reason is my son is 21 n they just don't care or want to help him anymore n thats very sad. So word of advice please don't send your child here they will receive no help n be discriminated so don't waste you or your child's precious time.Parent Review3y ago2 Reviews - Corporate Toddlers

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall, I think this school is pretty great. When I was here, we kept the same classmates with us as we progressed forward through grade levels. This allowed us to bond and create a little community, or more like a family. Although this school is closing, it will never be forgotten.Other Review7y ago4 Reviews
