All of the teachers my kids have had have been great so far. But, the school doesnt involve the parents with anything. My son has been disruptive in class for god knows how long and I found out when he was involved in another incident. Bullying is big here. But the kids get punished when they defend themselves instead of the bully. I have opted my kids out of classes that i am legally allowed to by law and they still had my daughter in a class learning anatomy in 3rd grade. The principle needs to be let go. She acts like we are raising our kids wrong vecause it doesnt align with her beliefs. Her career is more important than the future of our kids. I was told that what i say is damaging to my son is subjective. Basically it dont matter what i say or think for my kids. Her word is final.We moved here because of the schools and now we are moving out because of the schools. They use google classroom and powerpoint slides to teach. What happened to the chalkboard and textbooks? The chalkboards here(if there is one) are either covered in posters or blocked off. This school has the proficiency level in language arts at around 30% and math around 40%. Sonethings gotta change. And it isnt the age they learn about sex and the difference between a boy and girl like they are stressing. I know we made a mistake with this place. Think about it before you do too

My kids love Guardian Angels School. I have three children at GARS, and I have had a great experience with every teacher so far. The level of personal touches and true caring that they exhibit is a unique school experience I am so grateful we have found. When I just asked my six year old to review her school, she said "my teacher is loving". The strong caring community feel is wonderful.
