NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school is definitely above the average school in the country. This comes not only from the people that work there but also from the community. The kids are well behaved, bad behaviors are consistently discouraged, teachers and students use modern technology, the classrooms are well supplied, the love for reading is promoted, parents are always welcome to volunteer, teachers greet every student in the morning and welcome them in the building. Every parent has different expectations from the educational institution and one can always find negatives. This school, although not perfect, has many more good points than bad.Parent Review14y ago3 Reviews - St. Vincent De Paul School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was at the local grocery store on Saturday when two vice principals from this school were having a shopping contest. The students were all wearing shirts showing off a national education award and they were so excited for the opportunity to help their school and the community. The kids cheered on their vice principals and then helped clean up any messes, ring up the groceries and box them for donation to a local food pantry. Any school that is winning education awards and turning out such polite and service-minded students must be doing something right.Other Review13y ago1 Reviews - HudsonWay Immersion School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy kids are getting an amazing education at HudsonWay. Small class sizes and low student/teacher ratios allow teachers to give focused attention to students and challenge them, but at a pace that’s right for the individual student.Foreign language immersion makes HudsonWay unique. My two kids have been going two years and they are fully conversational in Spanish. I had a proud moment recently at a party when I overheard my son having a 5-minute conversation with a Spanish speaking adult. It’s something you really can’t get anywhere else. All the instruction (math, science, social studies, etc) is in the target language except for English class and specials where the students from Spanish and Mandarin mix together. Learning in a foreign language seems to expand the frontier of kids’ minds and makes them better students across all their studies. My older son is reading in English at least one grade level ahead at this point, and I attribute it to largely to his learning to read in two different languages.Relative to other private schools in the area, I think HudsonWay is a great value because you get the small class sizes and your kids learn a foreign language, which is a gift they’ll have their whole lives. I’m a big fan of the school.Parent Review3w ago19 Reviews - Hudsonway Immersion School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have had our son at Bilingual buds (now Hudson Way Immersion school for 2 years). We love it. He is 4 1/2 years old and fluent in Spanish. He is also doing kindergarten level work in pre-k. We are starting our second child there this fall. Definitely recommend the school. The teachers are great and our son loves it.Parent Review11y ago1 Reviews
