7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI use to go here for 3 years until I left in 2021, they do nothing about bullying, I was bullied horribly by everyone and nobody did a thing, their answer for it was just to talk to the guidance consular after getting off the bus and not telling the kids bullying me off. The teachers were worse, they were a few great teachers but the rest were horrible, I got in trouble so many times for doing nothing wrong. I got in trouble for drawing the smallest thing on my paper. One of the teachers legit made one of my classmates cry. I do not recommend this school. They will do nothing if you're bullied or in bad mental health.Other Review2y ago30 Reviews - Woodman Park School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe were worried when we bought a house in the vicinity of Woodman Park. I grew up in Dover and went to Garrison, so I had always heard that Woodman Park was "the worst" of the three grade schools. My husband and I have been so pleasantly surprised with this school. My daughter's first year in Kindergarten at W.P. was such a great success and she could not have loved it more. The teachers are compassionate and do a great job instilling important life skills in our little one. She is so excited to start a new school year!Parent Review8y ago10 Reviews - Portsmouth Christian Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageChoosing PCA for our children has truly been one of the best decisions we have ever made. Since joining the community, our children have grown in both their learning and their confidence. They’ve built strong, genuine relationships with their teachers and classmates, and it’s evident that each child is truly known and cared for. The teachers do an incredible job of meeting students where they are, offering the right amount of both encouragement and challenge, while also staying closely connected with parents along the way. There’s a real sense of partnership here, with everyone working toward the same goal of helping each child grow and succeed. We’ve seen firsthand how the curriculum supports not just academic progress, but also personal development. We’re incredibly thankful for the role this school has played in shaping our children’s education and character.Parent Review1mo ago42 Reviews - St Mary Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy kids have been at My School for three years. We looked at a lot of preschool options and knew immediately when we visited My School that it was a special place. From cozy reading corners to art studio, every space is thoughtfully designed to engage the kids in imaginative play and hands-on exploration and it's evident that the teachers genuinely care and are dedicated to the kids. They do a really good job with communication and with organizing special activities and events (i.e. Halloween parade, farm field trips, spring fling, art show, outings to the local coffee shop). Arguably more important than the academics, I feel that they help to prepare my kids with social and emotional skills to navigate the world with kindness and confidence. I wholeheartedly recommend My School to any parent seeking an amazing preschool experience.Parent Review2y ago14 Reviews
