"I live 5 minutes away from my work. Traffic is still an issue but doesn’t take more than 15-20 to get through it."

"Morton Meadows is a wonderful area, full of professional people, families, and retirees. The eclectic mix of homes adds charm. Friendly people, great schools, close to public transport, ease to get to downtown and west Omaha, great little park. Everyone who lives in this area takes pride in their homes."

"Walkable tree-lined streets with minimal traffic. Many young families with kids and dogs as well as proud homeowners who have lived here for decades. The Willa Cather public library is just 3/4 miles away and takes you along the fetching Twin Ridge Boulevard. Midtown favorites Barrett's Barleycorn and La Casa Pizzaria are just 5 blocks away and McFly's Tavern is just 8 blocks away. Additional walk- and bike-friendly destinations include: Baker's Supermarket (.5 miles), Hy-Vee Supermarket (1.1 miles), Gorat's Steak House - a Warren Buffet favorite featuring one of the city's best lounges! - (.9 miles), Crescent Moon Ale House (1.3 miles), Greek Islands Restaurant (.9 miles), Harket's BBQ (.8 miles), Lo Sole Mio's Ristorante (1.9 miles - mostly along Field Club Trail!), Bob Monkey's Noodle Zoo (1.3 miles) Weird Wild Stuff Vintage Clothing (.7 miles), Dundee Movie Theatre (1.2 miles), Hanscom Park (1.2 miles) Elmwood Park (1.5 miles), and Memorial Park (1.7 miles). This home is also just 1.7 miles to Midtown Crossing, 1.6 miles to downtown Dundee, and 1.5 miles to Aksarben Village. You really have access to some of the best dining, nightlife, and entertainment options in the city. Should your plans take you downtown, you don't have that much further to go. Just 2.5 miles to the Orpheum Theatre and the heart of the Old Market. It's no wonder this friendly Midtown Omaha neighborhood is such popular place to live! "

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe Beals families are very supportive of the classroom teachers and principal efforts to educate every single child that walks in the school.. Beals has a great number of students from various ethnicities and backgrounds, both international and local. I am currently a teacher in another elementary school that I love. I had the opportunity to teach at Beals previously and the highly structured leadership is greatly appreciated and always responsive to students, parents and community. 5 stars-Go BealsOther Review13y ago3 Reviews - Holy Cross School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to this school for a year, and I was miserable. The students were stuck up jerks and the teachers were rude, especially a certain English teacher... This is just my point of view as a non-Christian forced to go to a Christian school, so yes, I am biased. During my time there, they had at least one kid get bullied so bad she had to leave the school. They had a privilege for students that had parents who taught there, obviously getting favorited by the teachers. Anyway, don't force your religion on your kid, and if ask them if they want to go. If they say no, respect that. If they say yes, then great have fun.Other Review2y ago3 Reviews
