6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved here middle of school year 2020 during Covid 19. My kids were able to transition well, and have come to enjoy going to school. We love the principal and my kids' teachers. My kids rate above average in testing, but I'm glad that the school also focuses on emotional well-being. Definitely recommend Fort Crook!Parent Review4y ago4 Reviews - Lemay Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’m very concerned for any parent who sends their child to this school .my child’s friend was threatened last week by another student who wanted to kill the student on the school grounds .this student has history of violence at school .The principal did nothing about the issue leaving the student that was threatened and other students in harms way .im very disappointed.SAFTEY is concern for many of us parents .Parent Review3mo ago16 Reviews - Twin Ridge Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhen I went I loved it, good teachers, good principle and it was over all excellent. Right now, there fixes to be made within school safety and some teachers need to be re-taught on how to handle situations with children other then that still a good elementary schoolOther Review2y ago6 Reviews - Leonard Lawrence Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall, disappointed in the lack of leadership and guidance. Attended Bellevue Public Schools growing up where Leonard Lawrence Elementary was one of the top rated schools to now being very subpar with minimal expectations. Staff seem to care more about gossip and undermining parents than focusing their time and attention to educating the students. Special education staff will focus on providing answers to tests and assignments to allow the student to slip by, than to think creatively within the curriculum to think of alternative methods or approach’s to teach the student in a different ways that met that students way of learning.Parent Review4y ago6 Reviews - Spring Lake Magnet Center

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was a recent parent of the school. I just pulled my children out because of the continuous experience that I've had and they've been there less than a year. They started at the beginning of the school year and I took them out before the school year has ended. From the very beginning. My daughter had an unfortunate encounter with her teacher and she felt uncomfortable and did not even want to attend school. Talk to the principal and we thought that we were on a better path. We have teachers who are crossing guards overstepping their bounds off of school property when it comes to children walking home with their parents. Who then tell me as a parent that if I have a problem with what they're saying to go take it to the principal that was the first encounter. The second encounter was today as I informed her that this is their last day and instead of it just being that it was their last day she then wanted to tell me well. I you know they should cross over here because it's for the safety of the children, my children are my children when they're off of school property. I'm in charge of them. I made sure they got across the street safely, hence why you're able to have a conversation with me on the other side of the road. Nonetheless, the other children were on the other side and already gone for the most part. It's just teachers overstepping their bounds.Parent Review2mo ago8 Reviews
