This school has been blessed with a beautiful campus and the ability to be a loving Christian school in an area where the public school are very bad. Sadly Christian legalism is in the hearts of those who “own” the school. Don’t be fooled, this is a family business so to speak. All of the leadership and several teachers are related to and cover for each other. The staff will NEVER admit to a parent/student that they were wrong when confronted with the truth. A student is never asked to explain an issue, rather they are accused and they are not allowed to explain or speak. Any answer other than saying “yes ma’am” is considered disrespecting authority. Parents and students are afraid to speak out for fear of being expelled.The school: aka the Lancaster’s and those related to them, have put themselves in the role of the Holy Spirit both at school and they try to step into the student’s and teacher's homes’ for fear of something they don’t approve of being seen. They have an unbiblical priority of being the best and always winning. They expect these kids to be perfect and a tiny mistake (especially in the teen years) comes with severe consequences. They demand how the kids should act during worship at chapel by saying the only way to worship is by raising your hands and that Jesus is disappointed when He sees hands down. Look up Christian legalism and that definition accurately explains the way this school treats people. There is no grace or love of God being shown. Staff kids, or favorites (based on what their families can and do contribute to the school, get away with everything and make life even harder for the nobodys. They take WAY too many travel days and party/fun days where no school work is being done. High school alone has 2-3 days for an orientation trip, 4 days for a Disney trip, and 6ish for a Europe trip. The kids that don’t go stay behind and mix grades together because of the lack of teachers. Material taught during this time is subpar. This is a school and not a travel club and it’s unfair to the students who stay behind. Everything extra costs money. Communication is not adequate and often parents get info with little time left to prepare. My prayer for this church is for the leadership to have a heart change and with humility approach the student body admitting the un-Christlike behavior. Then either change or hire a nonpartisan staff to run this school to bless the Christian families in Brunswick county.

Safe and nurturing environment providing students with the optimal environment to learn. Parents are involved and school teachers and leaders are enthusiastic.
