This is a violent, ill managed school. Take care of your little ones. Don't send them to this school.

Not a good school. Sad because we live in the same neighborhood and our kids went there for a few years. There are some great teachers there but the rezoning of the districts made a lot of rough kids from rough homes go to that school. We now drive 30 mins each way to take our kids to a much better school. The principal and assistant principal pretend to care but they are more focused on the lesser fortunes kids than the kids that do right and can read and spell etc. Do not put your kids on this school. They will be bullied in kindergarten and come home a different child. Again some great teachers like the music and art teacher and the gym teacher and the kindergarten teachers but not a good school for overall development of your child. Also the school is completely rundown and dirty. I went to a PTA meeting and had to use the restroom and that was the moment that I decided my kids are done at JES. brown toilet sits and just disgusting conditions. School needs a complete overhaul. Start with the principal.

I would say this school is a 7/10. The teachers and ecosystem is great, the students not so much. However, they are working in it and it seems like they are making vital improvements that are helping this school become a better place.

We love how friendly the staff is and how willing they are to help our son excel. We are thankful for all our their help in helping our son become a more motivated learner.

A negative 0 the office staff are very unprofessional the teachers pass your child to the next grade without them knowing what they should know for that grade this is y the test scores are so low

Environment is not great for kid to thrive on.
