Southeast Halifax High School is a school that offers a nurturing environment for teaching and learning. As a member of the teaching staff for 11 years, I can attest that this school earned the highest composite growth in EOC scores in the district, county, and state in 2012. Our graduation rate is at 91%; over $750,000 in scholarships were distributed to the graduating class of 2012. Parental involvement is positive, supportive, and committed.
