7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageEastover Central Elementary is truly a gem when it comes to fostering continuous learning and academic excellence. The staff’s engagement with students is remarkable—they don’t just teach; they invest in every child’s success and growth. Teachers at Eastover go above and beyond, often taking time outside of regular school hours to provide additional assistance or resources to help students excel. Their dedication is unmatched and speaks volumes about their passion for education. Our child attended Eastover Central for three years, and during that time, we experienced firsthand the school’s commitment to creating a supportive and enriching environment. Unfortunately, due to military relocation, we had to leave in November 2024, and we miss the school greatly. The school’s diversity is another strong point, fostering an inclusive environment where every child feels valued. Additionally, Eastover Central does a fantastic job keeping parents informed and involved in their children’s educational journey. Whether it’s through regular updates, events, or parent-teacher interactions, we always felt connected and aware of what was happening in the classroom and beyond.Leaving Eastover Central was one of the hardest parts of our move. The school set such a high standard that it will be difficult to find another that compares. We are forever grateful for the incredible experience and the lasting impact it has had on our family.Parent Review1y ago9 Reviews - Armstrong Elementary

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have seen all three schools in Eastover, NC and this is by far the best of the three. My oldest son attended Eastover Central, my middle son completed 2 years at Armstrong and my youngest son spent 2 years at District 7 and 1 year at Armstrong. Eastover Central and District 7 are both excellent schools with solid faculties and staffs, but there is something special going on at Armstrong. The work Principals Adams and Carter have done in improving this school is nothing short of amazing. You will not find two Principals more active in the education of children. Their leadership is impeccable and they both have a unique arendndndnnd respectful knack for motivating parents to get involved in their children's education. Everyone from the faculty to the staff is excited to be at Armstrong and a part of what they are doing. I am most impressed with the school's special needs program and how hard those teachers work and how deeply they care about the children.I have witnessed nothing but smiles and encouragement in this school and I would recommend it above the other two elementary schools in Eastover.Parent Review9y ago6 Reviews
